Michelle recently admitted that she had not been home for weeks after filming BBC drama 'Our Girl'.
A source told Closer Magazine: "Things have still been tense between Michelle and Mark since she returned from filming Our Girl.
"Mark feels like he's treading on eggshells and isn't being his usual bubbly self.
"She's found it tough to readjust to life with Mark after spending so much time away on set.
"Mark arranged a date night recently at Michelle's favourite restaurant in a bid to start spending more time together, but they ended up arguing over the same issues about where they should live and starting a family."
However, a source close to the couple also told Mirror Celeb: "Michelle had an amazing time filming Our Girl, but is happy to now have more time to spend Mark.
"They've both got a lot of exciting work opportunities coming up so make the most of it when they are together."
