Stephanie Davis has hit out over accusations that she is lying about her pregnancy.
The former Hollyoaks actress announced she was expecting her first child earlier this year – shortly after her short, but turbulent, relationship with Jeremy McConnell came to an end. While Davis insists McConnell is the father of her unborn child, he has argued that the baby is not his.
However, while a representative for Davis has confirmed that she is pregnant, the actress has not yet tweeted a picture of her scans or any 'baby bump' pictures – despite previously documenting her whole life on social media.
On Monday, she chose to share one message she received, arguing that it is the reason why she has chosen not to share any pregnancy photos.
One Twitter user wrote to Davis: "You're not even pregnant. We're all just waiting for the inevitable 'miscarriage horror' story. You're a mess."
Retweeting the message, she hit back: "Absolutely disgusting! This is why I'm not sharing any photo as there's so many vile people! I've been under enough (sic)."
Davis and McConnell started dating earlier this year after meeting on Celebrity Big Brother. They started a relationship in the house, despite Davis already being in a relationship. Over the couple's five-month romance, they separated four times.
