Katie Price has praised her husband Kieran Hayler, saying he has been "re-born" following his cheating scandal.
In 2014, 38-year-old Price said she was filing for divorce from Hayler after he admitted to sleeping with two of his wife's closest friends. Price was pregnant with Hayler's child at the time. However, she later said she would not be separating from her husband and stood by his side.
Speaking on ITV's Loose Women on Tuesday, the mum-of-five was asked if it was 'weak to stand by a cheat', to which she said: "In my situation, everyone said just leave Kieran. It would have been easy to walk away but I thought, no, I want to fight for this.
"We always say the old Kieran is dead and he's a different person. It's so weird. There is a new Kieran who has been reborn.
"It was tough. I was pregnant at the time so I couldn't turn to drink. I don't do drugs. I didn't have medication. It was pure strength, and I give myself a pat on the shoulder that I was strong enough to save him. It was the best thing I ever did."
She added: "I think a lot of people thought it wouldn't last. Even the therapist said he was one of the worst he'd ever treated. He spent three days with him and said he couldn't help him as he was lying to himself and it was up to Kieran to make that change."
Price and Hayler married in January 2013 following a whirlwind romance. They have two children together; two-year-old son Jett Riviera and one-year-old daughter Bunny. Price is also a mother to 14-year-old Harvey, Junior, 10, and eight-year-old Princess from previous relationships.
