The actress, who plays Carla Connor in the soap and is set to leave this year, has started a relationship with Hollyoaks' Assistant Director Paul Slavin.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Alison and Paul have always had an affection for each other.
"They've grown close in recent months and they're not fussed who knows. They are being very public."
Alison split from her fiancé Adam Huckett in 2012 and they have a daughter, Daisy Mae, together.
