Speaking to The Sun newspaper, he said: "Did I sleep with 4,800 women? So they tell me. I did have the Polaroids to prove it, oh yes."
Gene married his partner Shannon Tweed in 2011, however he said they gathered the evidence of his wild days and burned them.
He continued: "Most of them were burned. Shannon and I got together and we had a ritual."
The pair have two children together.
