The couple were first linked in 2011 – two years after the actor's wife, Natasha Richardson, died in skiing accident.
In February, Neeson said he was dating "someone incredibly famous", and as the rumours increased, the 63-year-old admitted a few days later that he was joking. However, his representative then confirmed that the actor was in a relationship, but declined to give any further details.
It is now thought the actor and St Johnston, a publicist, are dating.
According to the Herald, the couple arrived separately to the IFTA Film and Drama Awards in Ireland at the weekend, but were seated together throughout the event.
The ceremony's host, Deirdre O'Kane, is also said to have made a joke about the couple, saying Neeson was "taken" with his partner.
