Reports that Lindsay Lohan is engaged to Egor Tarabasov are untrue, according to a representative for the actress.
Earlier this week, TMZ claimed that 22-year-old Tarabasov had proposed to Lohan last weekend, following a whirlwind relationship.
Lohan, 29, was then spotted wearing an emerald ring on her wedding finger, but Hunter Frederick, a representative for the actress, is quoted by the media as saying: "The [engagement] story is untrue and holds no merit."
Tarabasov and Lohan are understood to have met through mutual friends and started dating eight months ago. Last month, the couple were said to have moved in together in London.
