Rebecca Adlington has opened up about the breakdown of her marriage to Harry Needs.
Speaking to the Irish Mirror, the former Olympic swimmer revealed that while the pair are no longer together, they are still best friends.
She is quoted by the publication as saying: "We're still very much the best of friends, and it's not like we're not talking, because we are. We talk all the time. We are both just working hard on trying to be good parents, and our total focus is on our daughter."
Adlington, 27, and 24-year-old Needs, who is also a competitive swimmer, tied the knot in August 2014. Their daughter, Summer, was born in June 2015. Last month, after 18 months of marriage, the couple issued a joint statement saying they had separated.
