However, Kim is believed to be refusing to relocate from Los Angeles to Paris after they just moved into their $7.6million home in the Hidden Hills.
Speaking to Closer Magazine, a source said: "Kim was furious when Kanye told her that he wants to spend half the year in France. She completely flipped out and told him: 'You're not taking the kids to Paris!'
"They've just finished renovating their home and, while they’re not planning on staying there as they always saw it more as an investment, she wanted to finally see if they could make a go of things, living as a proper family."
Kanye wants to move to Paris to work on his new album.
However, Kanye is believed to have told Kim that it would be healthier for the children to spend time in Paris.
The source continued: "Kanye told Kim that it would be healthier for the kids to spend some time out of the limelight and enjoy a normal childhood away from all of the cameras.
"He said he felt as if North was being damaged by growing up in the limelight and the constant swarm of paparazzi was affecting her behaviour."
