The couple were photographed out at dinner in Australia earlier this week, when Keating appeared to have been frustrated by something. Reports then emerged that the couple had been arguing.
However, the singer has now hit out at the claims, saying the pair had a good afternoon together.
Sharing an image of his wife smiling, the 38-year-old wrote alongside: "It's funny... I wanted to post this photo last night but had to hold myself back because I've got grief in the past for being too loved up & showing my happiness too much. Then I woke up this morning and a journalist (Megan Pustetto) wrote in the Daily Mail Australia the opposite?!
"Absolutely hilarious. It goes to show that sometimes it doesn't matter what you do – people will want to twist & do whatever it takes to throw a punch at ya. Disappointed because I love coming back to Australia and this kind of deliberate unkind fabrication of the truth in the press is un-Australian.
"This is a good country full of good, kind, people plus globally journalism has come a long way since the old school days of completely falsified & vicious stories. You don't need to go back there to get an audience DM Australia, I'm sure you'll find that the public like the happy stories too. X"
Keating's comments come just weeks after he said he was tired of taking the blame for his marriage breakdown to former wife Yvonne Connolly. The couple married in April 1998, and separated in 2010 after it was revealed that Keating had been having an affair with a backing dancer. He and Connolly have three children together; Jack, 16, Missy, 14, and 10-year-old Ali.
The singer later met his current wife, Storm, on the set of the Australian X Factor, where Keating was a judge and Uechtritz was a television executive. They announced their engagement in April 2015, and tied the knot in August of that year.
