The singer attended the Brit Awards on London on Wednesday and admitted it was his first time away from his newborn son Freddie.
During an interview with Laura Whitmore on ITV2 he said: "Fatherhood is good. It's intense. It's really exciting. This is my first time away from Freddie so it's tough."
Louis is no longer with Freddie's mother Briana Jungwirth, however the pair remain on good terms.
