Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini is reportedly wanting to give his failed marriage to Cheryl another go.
Earlier this year, it was reported that the couple were to divorce after just 19 months of marriage.
However, according to The Sun on Sunday, Fernandez-Versini is said to be keen to reunite with his wife. One of his family member's is quoted by the publication as saying: "He does not want to divorce Cheryl and wants to make a go of their marriage. He's still in love with her.
"JB wanted a child with Cheryl. They were trying and he would still like a child if they stay together.
"Family is everything for JB. He was devoted to his parents Bernard and Francoise. They were together 37 years and were only separated when they died. As far as JB is concerned, that is the only way a marriage should end.
"He's still wearing his wedding ring to show the world he wants to give their marriage a go."
They continued: "Cheryl had a song about fighting for love if it was worth it. As far as JB is concerned the love he has for her is worth fighting for."
Cheryl, 32, and Jean-Bernard tied the knot in a small ceremony in Mustique in the Caribbean in July 2014 – just three months after they allegedly met at the Cannes Film Festival.
Speculation regarding the couple's marriage has been mounting in recent months after the couple were last spotted together in public in October 2015. Last month, it was claimed the singer had filed for divorce from her husband, citing "unreasonable behaviour".
Cheryl was previously married to footballer Ashley Cole. They separated in 2010, after Cole was found to have been unfaithful during their four-year marriage.
