Lauren Lapkus Reveals Marriage Split

Lauren Lapkus has revealed she and her husband Chris Alvarado have separated.

The actress, who rose to fame in television show Orange Is The New Black, shared the couple's news via a message on Instagram on Sunday – Valentine's Day.


The 30-year-old posted a photo of the couple to the site, alongside the message: "Happy Valentine's Day. Today feels like the right time to post that Chris and I have decided to part ways. This has been a tough time but we are still friends and wish the best for each other."

Lapkus and Alvarado tied the knot in May 2014.
