Perrie Edwards has reportedly moved out of the house she and her former fiancé Zayn Malik bought last year.
The couple were thought to have spent around £5 million on the house last year, but just two months later, Malik ended the couple's engagement. But last August their shock split was announced, with Zayn allegedly asking the Little Mix star to move out of the house they had purchased just two months before the breakup. It has been claimed that Edwards had moved back into the house in November while she looked for her own place.
She is now thought to have purchased a £1m home in Surrey.
A source is quoted by The Sun newspaper as saying: "Perrie buying her own property is the biggest sign yet she's finally over Zayn and ready to move on. Her new place is really pretty and she's done it up so the design is all her and she loves it.
"Her mum Debbie will stay loads and she has a lot of pets to keep her company, but she's not lonely, she's enjoying her new independent life."
Malik, 23, and 22-year-old Edwards first met in 2011 on the set of The X Factor – the former One Direction member was appearing on the show with the band, while Edwards was a contestant on the series. The couple confirmed their relationship the following year, and in August 2013, they announced their engagement. Their romance ended suddenly in August 2015.
