Speaking to the Irish Independent, the 63-year-old actor didn't name the woman, and when contacted by another publication, a representative for Neeson refused to comment further.
In an interview with the Irish Independent, he said of the relationship: "I'd embarrass her if I said her name. She's incredibly famous. I'll have to do my best for her. It's amazing how far a simple bunch of freshly picked flowers will go in a lady's life, I find."
However, he added: "I'll send out a few bunches of flowers to various people and I usually just say 'from an Irish admirer'."
Neeson was previously married to actress Natasha Richardson. She died in 2009 following a skiing accident. The couple first met in 1993 and married the following year. They have two sons together; Daniel, 19, and 20-year-old Micheál, 20.
