'Vampire Diaries' Star Welcomes Baby Daughter

Candice King, nee Accola, has welcomed a baby daughter.

The actress, who is known for playing Caroline Forbes on television show The Vampire Diaries, revealed the news via her Instagram account.

Sharing an image of her newborn daughter's feet, King posted a love heart emoji. The image also reveals the little girl's name – Florence May King – as well as her date of birth, 15 January.


It is the first child for King and her husband Joe.

Joe, who is the guitarist for the band The Fray, shared the same image to his own Instagram account, writing alongside: "I'm in love again."

Joe, who is also a father of two daughters from a previous relationship, and Candice have been in a relationship for four years. They married in October 2014.
