The couple, who welcomed their first child together in December, revealed on Monday that their son was named Paul Tony – after the baby's father and uncle.
Following the announcement, which was revealed in OK! magazine, the 26-year-old then made her return to social media and started sharing images of her son. Captioning one photo, she wrote: "Just a few hours old our beautiful baby... Look at those lips we can't help but just kiss him all the time our story is in this weeks OK! Magazine (sic)."
The former TOWIE star was then quickly inundated with comments – some supportive – but others weren't as kind, and criticised the new mum for her name choice.
After a series of negative comments, Faiers shared a more positive comment from a follower who wrote: "I cannot actually believe the comments on here. I wonder if any of them have children of their own.
"I wonder if they know what it feels like to carry a child for 9months, go through labour, be blessed with a healthy child, and have the honour of calling him after his father...
"And all they can think of is oh no Paul?!! I think it's beautiful and a real display of love on ur behalf for ur partner (sic)."
Faiers responded with: "Couldn't have put this in better words myself. Thank you x."
