Neither of the singers have commented on the claims, but according to The Sun, the X Factor judge will act as a bridesmaid at her best friend's wedding later this month.
A source is quoted as saying: "Kimberley sorted the date for her wedding ages ago and Cheryl is going to be there to ensure the big day goes to plan.
"She's played a huge part in the preparations and being involved had at least provided her with a bit of a distraction from her own troubles."
The bridesmaid reports come just weeks after Cheryl is said to be in the process of divorcing her second husband, Jean-Bernard. The couple tied the knot in a small ceremony in Mustique in the Caribbean in July 2014 – just three months after they allegedly met at the Cannes Film Festival.
Kimberley and her long-time partner, Justin Scott, have been together for more than ten years. Their first child, a son named Bobby, was born in September 2014. Around this time, Scott also proposed to his girlfriend.
