Scott, who attended rehab in October following his split from Kourtney Kardashian, said he is determined to make his life right.
The pair have three children together.
Speaking to Kourtney, Kris Jenner and her sisters Khloe and Kim during an episode of 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' on Sunday he said: "It's like, it's just terrible but like if I didn't have those kids I would kill myself.
"But I have them and I'm gonna be here and I'm gonna make it right for them.
"You know I just hope somehow, not that I'm religious but God could give me a chance or us a chance at this or something because like I just know that I'll never have the happiness that I would have otherwise and it's been nice having you guys in my life for so long so it's weird to lose that many people that quick you know?
"I want to be able to be the man that you've always wanted. I could party I could go out every night I could do whatever, it's not the life that I really want.
"I know what I want and I may not get it but I know that I would literally hate myself for the rest of my life if I didn't at least try and I realise that if I don't make a change now like it'll never be able to be OK and it may not be but I'm damn well gonna try.
"I wanted you guys to know that and I wanted to see you guys and I just love you all and miss you guys so much you know?"
