The pair, who are parents to daughter Amelia, said they are hoping to have their second child by next Christmas.
Speaking to OK! magazine Emily said: "We'll have to start trying in the next couple of months if we do decide, as we'd want to ensure it's as close to the end of August as possible.
"That way I could take a year out and get the maximum amount of time with the baby."
Peter is also a father to Junior, ten, and Princess, eight, from his previous marriage to Katie Price.
Peter and Emily wed in the summer of this year.

Singer Peter Andre and his wife Emily MacDonagh have revealed they would like to have another child together.The pair, who are parents to daughter Amelia, said they are hoping to have their second child by next Christmas.
