John Dineen from Ireland died from a rare form of cancer at a hospice in Cork on Sunday.
Ms Dockery is believed to be devastated.
She travelled to Ireland to be with him during his final hours, according to the Irish Independent.
A spokesperson for Ms Dockery said: "The family is very grateful for the support and kindness they have received but would kindly request that they are left to grieve in private."
