Rory McIlroy 'Confirms Engagement'

Rory McIlroy and his girlfriend Erica Stoll have reportedly confirmed their engagement.

The news comes after the pair were spotted attending a charity event in Belfast on Thursday night, and Miss Stoll was wearing a large diamond ring on her engagement finger.

Last week, it was claimed the former World Number One golfer had proposed to his girlfriend during a trip to Paris. However, neither party addressed the claims.


The couple were attending a fundraiser for The Paddy Wallace Fund in Belfast last night, 10 December, when Stoll was spotted wearing the large diamond ring.

McIlroy, 26, and 27-year-old Stoll have been dating for almost a year. The engagement news comes just a year after the sportsman ended his engagement to tennis star Caroline Wozniacki, claiming he wasn't ready for marriage.
