Speaking to OK! Magazine she said: "Breakfast TV is a brilliant job for a mum. I also do my Smooth Radio show in the afternoons."
Kate said she is often home before her children go to school and she doesn't feel guilty for being a working mother.
However. her schedule means she cannot go out in the evening.
She said: "There's no going out in the evening. I have to plan my day around maximising time with the children."
