According to the Daily Mirror, the meetings come almost two years after the comedian denied ever meeting Ms McCann.
In 2013, McCann revealed that the pair had gotten together following a night out, but Brand was quick to hit out at the 25-year-old, saying: "I've literally never seen this human."
McCann's TOWIE co-star Sam Faiers then came to her friend's defence and shared an photo of them – and Brand – together. She captioned the snap: "Rus, how can you forget?"
This time around, it is thought the McCann and Brand, 40, reunited in May having met on The Jonathon Ross Show, where the comedian was a guest, while McCann was in the audience.
A source is quoted by the Daily Mirror as saying: "Ferne went along with her friend Carl to watch the filming and got chatting to Russell backstage after his interview. Just like before they really hit it off and swapped numbers again. They've met up several times since and she went to his house in East London.
"The pair exchanged countless flirty messages. It was definitely 'on' for a while but it was only a casual thing. However, there is no way Russ can forget about her this time round."
McCann was previously in a relationship with her TOWIE co-star Charlie Sims, but the two separated earlier this year. Brand, meanwhile, was dating Jemima Khan, but they called time on their romance in 2014.
