Nikki Sanderson has described her relationship with Greg Whitehurst as "serious", but is remaining tight-lipped on the details.
Speaking to The Mirror earlier this week as they made an appearance at the Animal Hero Awards, the couple were asked about their romance and if it was becoming serious.
Sanderson replied: "Yes, kind of. Yeah, we are. We are very happy, but I can't divulge the private stuff."
In May, the 31-year-old actress was forced to release a statement regarding her relationship with Whitehurst after it was revealed he was married. The news came just months after Whitehurst's marriage to his long-time partner Sarah ended. The couple had tied the knot 10 months previously – with Sanderson being a guest at their wedding. There is nothing to suggest Sanderson had any involvement in the split.
In a statement to the MailOnline at the time, she said: "I have known Greg and his family for many years. Greg's marriage ended in January, it was a very difficult time for him during which all of his friends and family supported him.
"We have started recently dating and its early days, so we are not rushing into anything but are both enjoying each other's company."
