Amelle Berrabah is said to be planning to divorce her husband Marcio Sousa Rosa – just 12 months after they tied the knot.
In October 2014, the former Sugababes singer announced the couple's engagement following a whirlwind romance. Just six days later, she confirmed they had married while on holiday in Mauritius.
Now, however, the romance seems to have hit a rocky patch, with 31-year-old Berrabah said to have asked her husband for a divorce.
A source is quoted by The Sun as saying: "It's been a difficult few months for them and the marriage is on its last legs. Amelle is struggling to recognise Marcio as the same man she married.
"The honeymoon period is definitely over and he is spending a lot of time away from the family home.
"During a recent heated row Amelle told him she wanted a divorce, but as yet they haven't filed legal proceedings."
Berrabah first sparked speculation that her marriage was in trouble earlier this month after she changed her social media handles back to her maiden name. An image she has shared last year of her and Marcia's wedding rings has since been deleted. She had captioned the snap: "Mr and Mrs Sousa Rosa."
No official comment has yet been made on the claims.
