In a statement to Us Weekly, a spokesperson for the former 'Heroes' actress said: "Hayden Panettiere is voluntarily seeking professional help at a treatment centre as she is currently battling postpartum depression. She asks that the media respect her privacy during this time."
Panettiere, 26, and her fiancé Wladimir Klitschko welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Kaya, in December 2014.
