Last week, the 35-year-old announced she had ended her marriage to the former rugby player after just 13 months. Prior to the separation, it was alleged that Kay had attacked his partner and was found to be in possession of a Taser gun. Katona was said to have been left injured in the incident.
At the time, a spokesperson for the singer said: "It is with deep sadness that Kerry announces the end of her marriage to George Kay. Her focus now will be on her gorgeous children."
Katona is said to be keeping herself busy and looking after her five children, but according to Closer magazine, she is finding it tough following another marriage breakdown.
The publication quotes a source as saying: "After the arrest, George packed his stuff and left. Kerry's been in floods of tears and her instinct was to lock herself away in her bedroom, but she knows she has to be there for the kids, so falling apart's not an option."
Katona and Kay started dating in 2012, but were friends for a number of years previously. They announced their engagement in 2013, and in September 2014 they tied the knot. Just a few months before their wedding, in April, they welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Dylan Jorge. While Dylan is Kay's first child, Katona is also a mum to Molly 14, and Lilly Sue, 12, from her first marriage to Brian McFadden, and Heidi, eight, and seven-year-old Max from her second marriage to Mark Croft.
