Thames Valley Police said the incident occurred between 3.30pm and 3.50pm on Sunday, 4 October. It is understood three people broke into the property on White Lion Walk and stole wedding gifts including travel vouchers, cash, alcohol and a cash register. The offenders were spotted entering and leaving the premises via the building's fire door, before fleeing to St Mary's Church Yard.
The first man is said to be in his mid-30s, around 5ft 6in tall, of slim build, with short dark hair. He was possibly wearing jeans.
The second offender is a white woman with dark hair pulled back in a pony tail. She was wearing a grey hooded top. The third offender is a white man, around 5ft10in, of slim build, and with light brown untidy hair. He is said to be between 20 and 30 years old.
Investigating Officer PC Paul Froggatt said: "We are appealing to anyone who may have heard or seen suspicious behaviour in the area at this time. This has caused great upset to the victims who have just celebrated their wedding day,and are unlikely to be able to replace wedding gifts from friends and relatives."
Anyone with information is asked to contact police via the Thames Valley Police 24-hour enquiry line on 101. Alternatively, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
