Olly Murs has opened up about his recent separation from girlfriend Francesca Thomas.
The couple were in a relationship for three years, but split up last month.
Appearing on ITV's Loose Women on Wednesday, the 31-year-old singer revealed: "I've just gone through a break up with my girlfriend, which has been quite sad, quite a difficult couple of weeks."
The X Factor then went on to again dismiss claims that he is dating his co-host Caroline Flack after Simon Cowell joked that the pair should hook up.
"Me and Caroline have always said hundreds of times that we're never going to get together. We're just really good mates. Simon is always trying to stir it up, but we're just great friends. But year, it's been a difficult couple of weeks," Murs added.
Murs and 26-year-old Thomas, a property manager, are thought to have ended their relationship in September following a holiday. The singer is said to have struggled to juggle the romance with his busy work schedule. The couple started dating three years ago, having first met at V Festival.
