Deeley, who is originally from England, and Kielty, who hails from Northern Ireland, announced earlier this month that they are expecting their first child together.
Recently, it was claimed the couple were unsure as to where to raise their child, but Deeley, 38, who is now based in California, has spoken out to say the family will be remaining stateside.
She told Closer magazine: "We're going to ensure we take the baby back home to visit our families as much as possible but, for now, we're happy here in LA and are excited to bring up our child with an outdoors lifestyle. They're going to experience the LA sunshine Patrick and I never got to experience."
Kielty, 44, and Deeley first met 10 years ago when they co-presented BBC talent show Fame Academy. However, it was only in early 2012 when Kielty revealed they were in a relationship. The couple tied the knot in September 2012.
