The couple, who have been in a relationship since 2011, tied the knot earlier this month, with reports of the ceremony only appearing in the press after they became husband and wife.
They have remained quiet on the details, preferring to continue to keep their relationship out of the spotlight, but appearing at the Los Angeles premiere of 'She's Funny That Way', Aniston opened up about their big day.
Speaking to E! News when asked how it felt to call Theroux her husband, she said: "It feels quite natural. He's shooting The Leftovers in Austin [now]."
The couple had invited their guests to a party at their house – but it was revealed to be masquerading as a birthday party to celebrate Justin's 44th the following week – leaving the guests surprised as to the real reason for the celebrations. When pressed on how they were able to keep their wedding away from the media, she added: "Where there's a great will, there's a way. It can be done."
Similarly, when Entertainment Tonight asked for details, she replied: "We had the beautiful luxury of having a beautiful private moment and I'm going to be selfish and keep it that way."
"The fact that we were just able to have the most peaceful, private experience and with a bunch of very extraordinary, wonderful – trustworthy obviously – people," she reiterated to Extra.
Aniston, 46, and Theroux, 44, started dating in May 2011. Their engagement was announced the following August.
