The pair are thought to have remained on good terms since announcing their split, something which Williams, 29, appeared to confirm in a recent interview with The Sun.
Commenting on her current living arrangements with her ex, the model said: "My family find it strange but we've only broken up and I haven't found somewhere else to live. I'm sure there will be a time when we're not in contact as much as we are now but until I find somewhere else we're going to be in each other's lives."
And when pushed on why the couple's three-year marriage ended, she explained: "It just didn't work out. He wasn't with anyone else, I wasn't with anyone else. It was nothing to do with that. That's why we might find it easier to be friends maybe."
McFadden, 35, and Williams started dating in May 2011. Just eight months later, in January 2012, they announced their engagement. They tied the knot in Florence, Italy, in September of that year.
