According to local media reports, the man, who has not been named, was left in such a state of shock at seeing his bride's face the morning after their wedding, that he didn't recognise her and accused her of being a thief that had broken into his house.
He has since sued his partner for damages, as he feels "cheated" by the "psychological suffering" she has inflicted upon him. He is reported to be seeking around £13,000 damages.
