Gwen Stefani is said to have ended her marriage to Gavin Rossdale over concerns that he had cheated on her.
According to TMZ, the singer "believed he [Rossdale] had been unfaithful", while a source is also quoted as saying the separation was "a long time coming".
In a joint statement earlier this week, Stefani, 45, and Rossdale, 49, said they had made the "mutual decision" to end their marriage after almost 13 years. Stefani is understood to have filed the divorce papers, citing "irreconcilable differences".
They added that they remain "committed" to raising their children together.
The couple tied the knot at St Paul's, Covent Garden in London in September 2002. They first met in 1995, and have three children together; sons Kingston, nine, Zuma, six, and 18-month-old Apollo.
