Speaking to presenters Philip Schofield and Amanda Holden on This Morning, he said: "I love Karen dearly, she is the mother of two beautiful children - I'm not sure how she feels - but a (reconciliation) is the million dollar question I suppose. I love Karen, we've had some great times together, and of course I'd like us to get back together."
Simon and Karen have two sons, Milton, seven, and Maurice, five together.
The pair were married for three years.
