The 'Silent Witness' actress made the confession during a new interview with Good Housekeeping. She added that she is an "old-fashioned romantic" and would like to give her daughter, Rose, some siblings.
The 40-year-old spoke to the publication shortly after she returned from Ethiopia, where she was working as an ambassador for ActionAid. She said: "When I was in Ethiopia and saw families with siblings who look after each other, I thought how we can get caught up in our work. But what is more important than family life? So, yes, I would love more children."
She also described herself as an "old-fashioned romantic" and that she would "absolutely love" to remarry again in the future.
Fox married British actor Jared Harris in July 2005. They were together for three years before announcing their split in 2008, with Harris filing for divorce the following year. The divorce is thought to have been as a result of the breakdown of their long-distance relationship, as well as a miscarriage Fox suffered in 2007. Their divorce was finalised in June 2010.
In November 2010, Fox gave birth to a daughter, Rose, with her then-partner Jeremy Gilley. The couple separated in 2011.
