She made the comments after Tamara Ecclestone shared an Instagram snap of her breastfeeding her daughter while she was on holidays.
In her Closer magazine column, Katie wrote: "I loathe all breastfeeders and the Mammary Mafia. And I can't stand this 'full-time Mummy thing' - you're just unemployed.
"Too much boob?
"Why do breastfeeders have to do it in coffee shops?
"You can smell the breast milk mixed in with your latte. And why do they post snaps online, like Tamara - what a doughnut."
Tamara defended her decision to post the pic on Lorraine. She said: "My husband took the picture. I loved it, I thought it was so cute... I didn't realise it was going to cause so much controversy and that people would have so many opinions on it.
"I just thought it was a beautiful photograph of the person I love so much. We were on holiday and it was a special moment, that was the only reason to share that picture."
