Samia Ghadie Opens Up About Difficult Pregnancy

Samia Ghadie has said she is having a difficult pregnancy.

The Coronation Street actress is currently expecting her second child – her first with fiancé Sylvain Longchambon – but has admitted that it hasn't been a smooth journey so far.

Writing in her blog for OK! Online, the 32-year-old revealed: "One thing that has been quite literally a pain for me this pregnancy is lower backache. I've read up on it and apparently it's pretty normal because your ligaments are softer when pregnant and that, coupled with hormonal changes and a growing uterus, is a recipe for a bad back.

"I don't remember it being so bad when I had Freya, although after having a C-section it has always seemed a bit weaker. Sylvain has been a great help though and has been giving me plenty of back rubs."

Ghadie and Longchambon first met in January 2013 on ITV's 'Dancing On Ice'. Ghadie was a contestant on the show and was partnered with professional ice skater Longchambon. The couple were the subject of romance rumours throughout the show – something they both denied – but they later admitted that they were in a relationship. In March 2015, the couple announced they were expecting their first child together and just last month, they revealed they were engaged.

Ghadie is already a mum to daughter Freya from her former marriage to Matthew Smith.
