Louis Smith Discusses Starting A Family

Louis Smith has hinted that he would like to start a family with his girlfriend Lucy Mecklenburgh.

The Olympic gymnast denied earlier this month that he was planning to propose to his partner, but he has now said that he can see the couple having children together.


Speaking to the Daily Express, the 26-year-old said: "Obviously, Lucy is a big part of my life now. I don't know where that's going to go, but hopefully it will be a situation whereI've got some little Lucys running around."

Smith and Mecklenburgh, 23, confirmed they were in a relationship in December 2014. The couple initially met months earlier on celebrity talent show 'Tumble' – Mecklenburgh was a contestant while Smith was one of the judges – but they only started dating once the show ended.
