The couple are parents to 14-month-old daughter Dylan George, as well as Katona's four other children from previous relationships, but Kay has revealed he would like to add the family.
He is quoted by New! magazine as saying: "I'd have 100 [kids]. It's just a case of what Kerry wants too. We've been practising."
He also went on to say that marriage – especially with a larger family – is a lot of work, but they try to overcome problems they encounter.
"I think everyone goes into marriage thinking it's going to be all roses and light but it's hard work," he commented. "Especially being a big family – it just needs work. It doesn't mean it's just us – it's the same for every couple."
Katona and Kay first started dating in 2012, but have been friends for a number of years. They announced their engagement in 2013 and in April 2014, welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Dylan Jorge. While Dylan is Kay's first child, his wife is also a mum to Molly 12, and Lilly Sue, 11, from her first marriage to Brian McFadden, and Heidi, seven, and six-year-old Max from her second marriage to Mark Croft.
In September 2014, Katona and Kay tied the knot at the Tortworth Court Hotel in Gloucester.
