Earlier this month, the 28-year-old issued a statement in response to a public Twitter spat with Wright. Her statement was issued a day after Wright launched a lengthy social media rant where he asked his former partner to stop talking about him and his new wife Michelle Keegan in the press. On a number of occasions recently, Goodger has seemingly left tweets or social media messages aimed at her former partner and his wife. One of the most recent messages came on the eve of Mark and Michelle's wedding. Wright took to Twitter to tell her to leave the newlyweds alone, resulting in Goodger saying the claims were "ludicrous" and "embarrassing".
However, the TOWIE star has now taken to her column for New! Magazine – to talk about her ex and their relationship.
She wrote: "I'm not living off Mark for money. I have been offered numerous interviews to talk about him, particularly of late – all of which I have turned down. I only ever speak about him in my column to defend myself against stories which aren't from me.
"The quotes I've posted aren't about Mark, they're relevant to other things in my life, which I hope is clear now I can reveal that I'm officially back with Jake [McLean]. I just wanted to keep that private until we were ready. I'm in love with someone else, so is Mark, and everyone needs to get over it."
Yet she couldn't resist one final swipe at her former lover, adding: "Frankly, it was embarrassing that those tweets were made when he was on his honeymoon [in Dubai] and I was away with my boyfriend, having an amazing holiday.
"Jake booked it as a surprise and whisked me away. Yes, we did go to Dubai one evening for dinner with friends, but for goodness' sake, last time I checked Dubai was a free for all!"
