The couple, whose on-and-off relationship has been well documented in TOWIE, appeared on ITV's 'This Morning' on Friday to talk about the new series of the reality television show, which airs from Sunday.
Speaking to hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, Arg said: "At the moment, me and Lydia are in an extremely good place. We got together two years before TOWIE existed. We've been together since we were teenagers.
"We've had our ups and downs, as many people have seen, but at the moment we're stronger than ever. I've moved in with Lydia now and we're very much so loved up."
His girlfriend added: "My mum always says we're the modern day Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton."
Arg and Bright are childhood sweethearts, but after an on-off relationship over the past few years, both decided to give their romance another go earlier this year. Last month, the couple announced they had moved in together.
