The couple joined reality television show The Only Way Is Essex at the end of the last series. They had been in a relationship for six years, but at the time of joining the show, they were not together. It was soon revealed that they still had feelings for each other, however, and speculation arose as to whether they would give their romance another try.
Now, speaking to Reveal magazine, the couple have said they are back together.
Lewis told the publication: "We're officially back on now."
"We had a bit of a trial when we were out in Spain," she added. "Now we're back to normality in Essex, who knows? I just hope it lasts."
Initially, Chloe admits she was unsure as to whether she should get back with her ex, but then she realised: "Being on the show opened my eyes a little bit. I had such a positive reaction from girls my age saying to me, 'I'm going through the same sort of thing'. People did say to me don't get back with Jake he's this and he's that, but you have to go with what you feel."
