Her comments come after ITVbe aired a repeat of the show 'Seven Days With… Ray And Emma Quinn' on Wednesday night. The show spends a week behind closed doors with different celebrity couples, and last night's episode featured the couple as they went about their daily routines.
However, the show was filmed prior to February of this year – when Quinn released a statement confirming that the pair had amicably decided to go their separate ways.
At the time, the singer-turned-actor said: "Unfortunately the speculation is true and Emma and I have regrettably parted ways.
"Out of respect for the privacy of my family I don't want to delve into my private life too much however what I will say is that our lives, after a period of time, have gone down separate paths."
It is a claim that has now been disputed by his former partner. Following last night's repeat airing, Stephens took to Twitter to set the record straight. She wrote: "Sad to see this is still being aired when Ray left us. I'm not one to normally comment or be public in regards to my private life but..."
The tweet has since been deleted.
A spokesperson for Quinn is quoted by The Mirror as saying: "Ray is not currently dating. His main focus is his son and moving forward. Ray is hoping that Emma and himself can remain friends for the sake of Harry."
Quinn, 26, and Stephens started dating in 2009. The couple announced their engagement on Christmas Day 2010, and tied the knot in Barbados in March 2012. On their wedding day, they confirmed they were expecting their first child together. Their son, Harry Frank, was born in August 2012.
