Kym Marsh has revealed that she and her fiancé Dan Hooper are focusing on their children.
Her comments come a week after the couple confirmed they were "on a break".
Appearing on ITV this morning, the 'Coronation Street' actress said: "We are both going through a really difficult time and it's tough obviously because there is that media spotlight but we've had a lot of support rom our family and friends and that's been invaluable to us both.
"I think our priorities are our children, we're both kind of focusing on our kids and work at the moment. It is difficult, particularly when people feel that they know exactly what's going on, when actually they know nothing."
The 38-year-old was then asked if the couple feel they will get back together, to which she replied: "That's something for me and Dan to discuss together."
Marsh is a mum to Emily, David and Polly from previous relationships, while Hooper has a daughter with his former girlfriend Stephanie Waring.
