Speaking to The Sun on Sunday earlier this week, 34-year-old Best confirmed: "Sadly we have had to go our separate ways. I wish her the best and sincerely hope we remain friends.
"She is the first girl I really loved and I cherish the time we spent together."
However, just a day later, Ianthe Rose took to Twitter to say: "There are two sides to every story..."
While it is unclear what "story" the 23-year-old is referring to, many have speculated that it is in relation to the former couple's romance.
Best first revealed he was dating the model last year, when he appeared on Celebrity Big Brother. After Best left the BB house, he and Rose were spotted on a number of occasions, often updating their social media accounts of photos of them together. However, they were last seen interacting on social media on 3 May, leading some to believe that their relationship had come to an end.
