The 22-year-old has been dating the Little Mix singer since summer 2014, and speaking to the Metro, he said: "This is my first serious relationship and it's as hard as you make it. Jesy knows that I was happy having fun, but sometimes someone comes along and I go with the flow and see what happens."
He added that the couple try to go on "as many dates as we can".
His comments follow those of his mother, Colleen Noleen, who described Jesy as 'The One' for her son.
