Dan Osborne has revealed he could propose to his girlfriend Jacqueline Jossa.
In an interview with Now magazine, the 23-year-old discussed the couple's relationship – as well as controversy surrounding it. Earlier this year, two audio tapes were leaked to the media. In these recordings, Osborne could be heard threatening his ex-girlfriend Megan Tomlin, with whom he has a 17-month-old son, Teddy. However, the audio tape heard Osborne say that his relationship with Jossa was a "mistake".
At the time, Osborne and Tomlin were no longer together, but the TOWIE star had just revealed that he and Jossa were expecting their first child together. Osborne has since apologised for his comments and insisted that he didn't mean what he said.
In this recent interview, he added that he is still "embarrassed" by his behaviour, but he and Jossa have put the drama behind them and are now looking to their future together.
He explained: "Of course, I never meant what I said about Jacqueline. We'd just found out Jacqueline was pregnant and I'd just told Megan. I was just telling Megan things she wanted to hear. Ella is amazing and I love her as much as Teddy. I would never mean it and it's the worst thing I said on that tape.
"I feel embarrassed sitting here explaining that I didn't mean it. I feared I was losing Jacqueline because I knew I was doing wrong. I shouldn't have been staying at my ex's house [while with Jacqueline], but I was only there for Teddy because I wanted to see him every day.
"It was selfish, but I did it to see my son. Jacqueline knows that, too. When she sees me and Teddy together, she loves it. She knew I was going through a hard time, but she knew eventually we'd be together."
He continued: "Jacqueline and I are happier than we've ever been. It's a good feeling that I've never had before. Jacqueline and I are best friends and I can't imagine my life without her."
Osborne also went on to say that the couple have discussed marriage, but when pressed on the issue, he replied: "She's mentioned it a few times. I know she wants to be Mrs Osborne. It's the least she deserves and I'd be a lucky man to marry her. We'll see what happens."
