Speaking to Closer magazine, the 25-year-old explained how she told her good friend Brook to ditch McIntosh, who she referred to as "gross".
She said: "We spoke about David and I told Kelly that he's gross and she could do a million times better. I know she has a new boyfriend now so I hope she's happier with him."
Brook, 34, and McIntosh had a brief, but turbulent relationship. They first met on New Years Eve 2013 at a party. Following a whirlwind romance, they announced their engagement in April 2014. In the months that followed, the couple broke up – only to reunite – on a number of occasions. In September 2014, Brook took to social media to confirm that she had finally ended their relationship for good.
